SUSAN CHEEVER
Crime: Stuffing the Ballot Box
Susan Cheever is the best-selling author of twelve books including five novels, Home Before Dark, a memoir about her father John Cheever and My Name is Bill, a biography of A.A. cofounder Bill Wilson. Her most recent book, American Bloomsbury, a study of 19th century writers in Concord, Massachusetts including Margaret Fuller, Louisa May Alcott, Henry David Thoreau, Nathaniel Hawthorne and Ralph Waldo Emerson, will be published in 2007. She has written for many magazines and newspapers including The New Yorker, The New York Times and Newsday. She is a Guggenheim fellow and a National Book Critic Circle Award Nominee.
